Hockey Champions Trophy

During the summer term a mix of Year 3 and 4 children received tickets to see the Hockey Champions Trophy at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The children watched two exhilarating games with gasps, cheers and the odd groan (when the opposing team scored of course).

First up was Great Britain v Korea, which ended with Team GB fulfilling the wishes of Southern Road to win 5-3. Next up, came Australia v Germany in a thrilling and action packed match, although we had to make a hasty retreat due to an unannounced downpour.

With the children showing impeccable behaviour and a desire to cheer on their team made the day extra special.
