During October, children from Southern Road Primary School attended a rugby tournament. The children managed to prove that teamwork, respect and practise are the ingredients to a fun filled day of success. After narrowly losing the first game, the children didn’t lose heart, nor did they give up. Creating a huddle and a much needed team speech from the captain, they were able to resurrect themselves to win the next 2 games. The children worked together to crush the opposition at every opportunity. Year 6 even managed to fit in the Hakka dance before a match to great effect.
Well done boys and girls, you showed true rugby resilience.
