Teachers, Southern Road children and senior executives from BUPA UK and the Youth Sport Trust attended a special reception at the House of Lords to celebrate the success of BUPA START TO MOVE.
The unique training programme has helped improve and deliver physical literacy to thousands of children across England, including those at Southern Road Primary School.
Hosted by Baroness Campbell of Loughborough, staff were able to talk about the success of the programme and most importantly, allow the children to express their views on primary P.E.
The children mingled with the crowd of adults and even participated in a promo-video for the BUPA START TO MOVE scheme.
Miss Gray and Mr Permaul are exceptionally proud of the children for their behaviour, motivation and enthusiasm.
A very unique and enjoyable day that will leave the Baroness with pleasant memories of Southern Road.
