On the 21st of June, after only ten days of rehearsals, year 6 pulled off an incredible feat – a musical performance of Macbeth! The children made their own set and props, and gave a spectacular performance of Shakespeare’s Scottish play.
In the words of our Macbeth:
“It was a great experience being Macbeth! At first it was very nerve-wracking, but as soon as I started performing the nerves ran away and the confidence came in. It was much better than I had hoped. My favourite parts of the whole production were rehearsing with everyone and seeing the teachers cry at the end!”
Congratulations again to the cast and chorus from year 6 – the play would not have been possible without you all putting in the effort that you did!
