Applying late?
All children born between September 1st 2017 and August 31st 2018 should start school in September 2022.
Sometimes parents and carers of children born between these dates miss the January 15th deadline for applications.
These children do not receive a place at a school on National Offer Day, which was April 19th this year.
Parents and carers of these children must make what is called a late application.
Late applications for a place in Reception (the first year of school) this coming September can be made online up until August 19th.
New applications from August 20th to 31st 2022 can only be made using a paper application.
Let us help you with your late application
We will personally guide you through the whole process.
You can contact us at Admission@southernroadprimary.com or on 0208 471 9048 if you want help from our specialist staff.
But if you want to do it on your own, then you can do so HERE.
If you prefer to use a paper form, then call the Newham contact centre on 020 8430 2000 or we can provide you with a copy and also help you fill it out.
Unhappy with the school your child has got into?
Please contact us at Admission@southernroadprimary.com or on 0208 471 9048 if you are having second thoughts about the school your child has been allocated and we will explain how the process of switching works and make arrangements to take you through it.
If you just want to go ahead without contacting us, then you can do it HERE.
Looking to move an older child to our school?
You should think very carefully about moving your child from school to another because this could damage their education, affect their emotional wellbeing or both.
But, if you are certain that you want to do this, then please contact us by emailing Admission@southernroadprimary.com or calling 0208 471 9048
We will let you know whether there are spaces and then guide you through the process if there are.
If you just want to go ahead without contacting us, then you can do it HERE.
