For nursery placement please apply directly to the school
Your child’s name can be placed on our Nursery Admissions waiting list at the age of 2. Parents/Carers are requested to complete an admission form online or collected from and returned to the school office along with the correct forms of identification. Regrettably we cannot accept registration of children over the telephone. Parents/Carers are contacted when a vacancy arises.
If your child is offered a place at Southern Road, you will be asked to attend an admissions interview, during which time you will meet with the Attendance Officer and have any queries or worries addressed. At the time of admission you will receive a copy of our current prospectus and have the opportunity to purchase a book bag as well as a bag in which to keep PE kit. We also have homework folders for sale in the school office.
Please note that before deciding to apply to Southern Road you are welcome to make an appointment with the Attendance Officer in order to look around the school.
